Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Digital Marketing Executive to lead and execute strategies focused on Social Media Optimization (SMO) and Video Marketing & Optimization. The ideal candidate will drive online visibility, audience engagement, and lead generation by executing day-to-day digital activities and aligning them with broader brand objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
One-Time Setup Tasks:
1. Digital Marketing Strategy Setup:
- Design a complete digital marketing strategy with focus on SMO, video marketing, SEO, and paid media.
- Identify platform-specific goals, audience segments, and success metrics.
- Set up and configure performance tracking tools such as Google Analytics, YouTube Studio, etc.
2. Social Media Profile Optimization:
- Create and optimize brand presence on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
- Ensure consistency in branding (logos, cover banners, tone of voice).
3. Video Marketing Framework:
- Develop a system for video production including scripting, titling, thumbnails, and publishing workflows.
- Curate a content bank of video topics relevant to target audiences and business services.
Daily Responsibilities:
1. SMO Content & Engagement:
- Publish scheduled content (reels, carousels, videos, infographics).
- Engage with followers through comments, messages, and community activities.
2. Video Optimization:
- Upload and optimize YouTube videos using SEO-friendly metadata (tags, keywords, titles, thumbnails).
- Ensure audience relevance and alignment with ongoing campaigns.
3. Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor and report KPIs including reach, engagement rate, video views, CTR, and conversions.
- Recommend and implement daily/weekly adjustments to boost performance.
Weekly Responsibilities:
1. SMO Campaign Planning:
- Run targeted campaigns to grow followers, engagement, and traffic to the website.
- Utilize platform features such as trending hashtags, stories, and reels.
2. Video Production & Distribution:
- Work with design/content teams to produce and distribute impactful video content.
- Manage publishing across platforms; run paid boosts if needed.
3. Competitor Benchmarking:
- Analyze competitors’ SMO and video performance to uncover strategic gaps and opportunities.
4. Reporting & Internal Collaboration:
- Share weekly performance dashboards with stakeholders.
- Suggest optimizations based on real-time insights and market trends.
Monthly Responsibilities:
1. Campaign Performance Review:
- Conduct detailed performance audits for both SMO and video marketing activities.
- Identify winning content formats and campaigns with the best ROI.
2. SMO–SEO Synergy:
- Collaborate with SEO teams to align keywords and backlinks across content strategies.
3. Content Calendar Management:
- Refresh the editorial calendar to incorporate emerging trends and audience feedback.
4. Training & Development:
- Stay updated with latest social and video marketing innovations.
- Share learnings via internal training and upskilling sessions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years in digital marketing with proven expertise in SMO and video content optimization.
- Tools Proficiency: Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio, Canva, Buffer/Hootsuite, etc.
- Technical Know-how: Understanding of video SEO, social media algorithms, and analytics reporting.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, creativity, attention to detail, and collaboration abilities.
- Adaptability: Passionate about digital trends and quick to implement new ideas and tools.
